For nearly 30 years BVGSA has been helping thousands of girls
ranging in age between 5 to 19 years old develop their softball skills.

BVGSA is a member of the Indian Peaks Girls Softball Association (IPGSA).
IPGSA includes 14 other cities in and around Boulder County.
IPGSA is one of the largest "C" level recreational leagues in a 4 state region.

Whether it's your first year or your last year playing BVGSA softball,
you will have a positive experience that will last a lifetime.

INFORMATION ON LEAGUE PLAY

BVGSA starts the season with practice in late March.
A team can not meet more than three times a week, including
practice and games combined, this allows for the girls to enjoy other activities.

Games start in late April and run until the end of June.

If your team finishes the season in the top four of your division, your team will play in the
IPGSA Championship games, which are played the first weekend after July 4th.

The number of games that are played are as follows:
8 & under: 8 games,
10 & under: 10 games
12 & under: 12 games
14 & under: 14 games
19 & under: 16 games (mostly double-headers)

We do not play games over Memorial Day Weekend or July 4th Weekend so
the girls and their families can spend quality time together.

If you are worried about overlapping with other sports such as soccer, don't worry,
BVGSA does not schedule any Saturday games in the month of May to avoid conflicts.
